Dear Parents,
It has been a busy term, with a lot happening both inside and outside the Kalangadoo PS community. Thank you for the prompt replies to the new SMS alert system I set up this week. This will prove to be very helpful in case of emergencies or for whole school communication of events. You can also use this number as a means for communication if you child is home sick or absent for any reason.
Facility upgrade
We are looking forward to upgrading our facilities gradually over the next few years. We are beginning by painting the front façade of the main building, to compliment the front garden upgrade. Please come in to the front office and look at the 3 colour choices and vote for your preferred one.
Foodbank Donations
Thank you to all the families that have already donated to our food bank box in the office. This organisation has been a great support of our school, so it is great to be able to support them where we can. Next week we will hold a casual clothes day on Friday for a gold coin donation for extra support.
Parent Session
For the next parent session will be viewing the new music program. Parents are welcome to come and sit in on a music lesson and can even join in. The junior music class will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, September 8th and the middle upper music class will be on Thursday, September 10th. We hope you can all come along.
