Kalangadoo Primary School comprises of two classes — a Junior Primary that caters for Foundation to Year 2, and an Upper Primary that includes years 3 to 7. In 2020 we have 24 students, ranging from Foundation to Year 7.
Students often work in Year level groups. We encourage students to be powerful learners that ask questions and enquire about the world around them.
Most of our teaching and learning centres around student driven learning. We have adopted the Playful Pedagogies across the school, which includes book making in writing and Loose Parts play at lunchtimes.
As of 2022 year 7 students will move to high school under the Department’s Year 7 To High School scheme. This will see our school cater for Foundation to Year 6.
