Transition support
We pride ourselves on giving all students a strong transition from kindergarten to primary school and from primary school to high school. Our local high school is Penola High School and our local Kindergarten is Kalangadoo Kindergarten, which is co-located onsite.
Kindergarten and primary school students regularly work together throughout the year, before beginning formal transition in Term 2 for those starting school mid-year and Term 4 for those starting at the beginning of the following year. Similarly our upper primary students visit Penola High School a number of times during the year before the year 6’s begin their formal transition to high school in term 4.
